Modern Slavery Policy
Last updated: 18 August 2026
Note: Under the Modern Slavery Act 2015, only commercial organisations with an annual turnover of £36 million or more are legally required to publish a modern slavery statement. GHA Construction Services is below this threshold and is not legally required to publish one. However, we believe transparency on this issue matters, particularly in the construction sector, so we voluntarily commit to the following.
Our commitment
GHA Construction Services is committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships, and to implementing effective systems and controls to ensure modern slavery and human trafficking are not taking place anywhere in our own business or in our supply chains.
Our business
We are a sole trader consultancy providing site safety coordination, temporary works coordination, principal design (PSDP), risk assessments, RAMS, and fire risk assessment services within the UK and Ireland construction sector.
Our supply chains
Where we engage subcontractors, associates, or suppliers, we take reasonable steps to satisfy ourselves that they operate in a manner consistent with the principles of the Modern Slavery Act 2015, including fair treatment and lawful employment of workers.
Due diligence
We will:
Only work with contractors and associates who we reasonably believe comply with UK employment law
Raise any concerns about working practices directly with the relevant parties
Report any credible concerns about modern slavery or human trafficking to the relevant authorities, including the Modern Slavery Helpline (08000 121 700, https://www.modernslaveryhelpline.org)
Review
This statement will be reviewed periodically as our business grows.
